We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our App is designed to work entirely offline, and we have intentionally built it so that your business data never leaves your computer.

We collect minimal data, and only when necessary to provide our services:

4. Your Local Data

All data you create in Seaso is stored locally on your computer in a SQLite database. This means:

• Complete privacy: Your data never leaves your device
• You own your data: You can access, export, or delete it at any time
• Offline access: No internet connection required
• No data breaches: We can't lose data we don't have

Data Location

Your Seaso data is stored in your macOS Application Support directory:

~/Library/Application Support/Seaso/

Backup Responsibility

Since your data is stored locally, you are responsible for backing it up. We recommend:

• Using Time Machine or another backup solution
• Periodically exporting important data
• Including your Application Support folder in backups

5. AI Features

Seaso includes optional AI-powered features (such as note generation). When you use these features:

• You must provide your own API key for the AI service (e.g., OpenAI)
• Data is sent directly from your computer to the AI provider
• We do not see, store, or process this data
• Your API key is stored locally on your device

Please review the privacy policy of your chosen AI provider to understand how they handle data. AI features are entirely optional and the App functions fully without them.

6. Third-Party Services

The App itself does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services except when you explicitly configure them (such as AI features). Our operations may involve:

Apple (Mac App Store)

When you purchase or download Seaso, Apple processes your payment and may collect data according to their privacy policy. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Email Providers

When you contact us via email, your message passes through email service providers. We use secure email services to protect correspondence.

7. Mac App Store

Seaso is distributed through the Mac App Store. Apple may collect certain information related to your purchase and download, including:

• App download and update information
• Crash reports (if you opt-in in macOS settings)

This data collection is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours. We may receive anonymized, aggregated analytics from Apple about downloads and crashes, but this does not include any personally identifiable information.
